This is a good kit for a good price compared to the "other guys" and it does the same thing even though it costs less. The instructions were ok that came with it, but they're nothing great. Maybe if it's possible they could work on more detailed and better pictures for the instructions, I had to search online for more pictures and references to what the instructions were referring to. To make it easier on yourself, turn your wheels all the way to the left and remove the passenger wheel well and it will be much easier to get to the bolts on the back by the firewall (ram 1500). Also make sure you do use the original gaskets for capping off the coolant line. I made the mistake of not doing it and had coolant spraying everywhere. Overall everything provided fit great and I have no problems with it at all
Having no knowledge of Diesel engines this was quite a challenge to install. Parts all worked for what I needed. Plug for hose seemed a little small but after a couple leaks found the sweet spot to make it work. Instructions were at times confusing due to lack of diesel knowledge. A few more pictures would have made it easier. Currently fully deleted and have a small coolant leak to be fixed but satisfied with the product. Knowing how to do the stuff now there are a few steps I’d add or do differently. Accessing existing bolts and getting those off gave me most headaches. Parts and quality were as good as I could ask for.
Really well put together kit. Everything was packaged nicely and shipped fast. The kit its self was easy to follow and to the point. I especially liked the quality of the products. Customer service was absolutely the best. It was nice to speak directly with the company owner to get some help. For me, I added some red RVT to the smaller plate to ensure no leaks but not necessarily needed. Hardest part was removing the hot pipe at the rear of the motor. Blast them with some grease for about 30 min and they come out, small place to work but I completed this install in about 3 hours with hand tools. I would say a C+ rated mechanic could get this done to perfection! Overall great experience!
Quality parts included with the kit. Couple hiccups with install since I didn't know exactly where to look for some parts. Need a torx driver to remove EGR from bracket at rear of engine. Hot side tube disconnects down by turbo. Easier if you're familiar with the engine. No leaks after install.
